gorgeous little ladies...... in gorgeous dresses !!

i had the pleasure of doing a shoot over the weekend , outside, which to be honest was the first outdoor one for quite a few months!! seen as we had such awful weather....... but we were so lucky with the weather and had a really good shoot........ i dragged my rugged vintage armchair along as a contrast to the sandy beach, and i think it worked really well, especially with the beautiful outfits the girls wore, that really added some magic to it all!
its a whole different dynamic outdoors, and one i feel the most at home with...... love it when the girls play "dress ups " too ! love that whole feeling of "fantasy" "magic" ....why be too serious !!!!!
love the bubble shot too !!!

hopefully this is the first of many, where i get to photograph a mix of gorgeous dress up clothes with rustic environments ..... makes its a little more than just a portrait....and turns it into art....

enjoy xxxx sam

the first previews of the pukekohe session....

here we go ..... the first of the ( highly anticipated ) previews from the pukekohe session..... these should keep you going for another week or 2 .... ;)
such a fun shoot, all of them were very active , and putting on a show ! it was awesome ! made me work for my money thats for sure.....couldn't just sit and stare like younger ones do...hahaha....i do love it when they are moving around, makes for more dynamic images....and hopefully captures each ones' personality a little in there too.............. the first two little ladies certainly put on a show for me.....and the beautiful thing is , even though done on the same "stage" their images are completely different...... each child uses the space differently ...love it !!!! ...
enjoy ..xxx sam

it been a few weeks since i last updated, my poor blog got a bit neglected lately, and its taken me the last few weeks to get on top of the work load i have.....
but having finished the editing on a shoot , that seemed to take me longer than normal , in between being sick and balancing other shoots.....i am finally here .
so i have a wee preview of a shoot i did of a beautiful english bulldog , roxy, with her mummy.........
nice and casual, but i was going for something crisp and clean...hence all the white.........
roxy stole the show and was alot more interested in the camera than we thought she would be !
