i feel like the last few weeks have been consumed with me making my website....... so inbetween all the editing i have been doing, i have also been doing my NEW website........ as some of you may know.......... well, i tell you , i now know why the designers take so long....hahahaha....crikey......... and not only the time, but my god, i changed my mind so much........oooh i like that way better....ohhh no , actually................. i think its safe to say my husband...aka tall man.... really tunes out and gets a hazey look in his eyes whenever i start talking about the site, pricing packages, and generally anything to do with that !!! and fair enough to , it consumed me !!!!!!! ...... but now its done and waiting to go live.......... i can relax............. a little, and concentrate on the editing and my lovely clients waiting...........( not that i ever stopped editing....i just felt like i was always on my website admin)
easter was good here.....quite a weekend of visitors, which i love !!!
we had the 'easter egg hunt' on sunday , and the kids went mad....it was hilarious...and although they didnt eat nearly as many eggs as i expected them too.....the excitement of the day and all the visitors was their sugar high !
sooo..... with another cuppa tea........ i am here , blogging......... and thinking how chilly it is today !!! the sun is shining , yes....but wow.....its definately autumn here now !! chilllllllllyyyyyyyyy.........but i love autumn colours for photo sessions!!!
when i daydream, its generally about 2 things........................ my dream studio space....( which i will show you one i love !!!!!) and going on holiday !!! hahahahaa.....

i always end up talking about ''work''' ............ maybe as my work is my passion...........and now i sound like a website........... hahahaa...... i am constantly thinking and researching ideas for packaging, and different ways to offer presentation pieces for clients...............so its great to keep my mind working............ and dont worry, not for one moment, do i forget my kids.....hahhaah...i'm typing this with little easter egg eating fingers wrapped around one arm....as she wants another one !!!!!! oooh now i am getting beaten !!!! time to log off................
wow its good to vent.... and just realease my thoughts into the universe............. so universe.....as boring or as interesting as they are........... HERE YOU GO !!!

ReplyDeletesam, i am so with you on the website thing, I am doing the EXACT same thing right now - working through resizing images, doing pricing packages etc. I have given myself a 2 week time limit to get it finished, I am already getting heaps of emails from people saying "oh, your galleries aren't working etc".
btw, i loved your "rant"!

hi cute peeps way over there in Australia ... if you guys need help with any of your "rants" ... let me know. I do a lot of creative consultation, branding, packaging creation, website design ( I design for BIG Folio, and yes you should definitely check them out) ... I really can't think of a better reason to get a chance to hear some fabulous Australian accents. (My fave) :)
